Before working with Jacqui, I was a busy fool! I was
constantly working but hadn’t really stopped to ques􀆟on
whether I was spending my 􀆟me on the right things or
whether it was actually moving my business forward.
Jacqui made me look at the numbers, my bo􀆩om line and,
importantly, the life I actually wanted. She helped me
understand what the business needed to achieve to give me
the life I wanted.
One of my biggest realisa􀆟ons was that I wasn’t going to be
able to grow the business on my own. That led to a huge
change: Tanya, my life partner of 16 years, is now also my
business partner. We’ve gone from me running the business
alone to owning a family business together, with a 50/50
share in the company.
I genuinely wouldn’t have had that realisa􀆟on without

I recently have been attending group business coaching sessions with Jacquei at Vector Business Coaching, and it was a genuinely valuable experience.
My main reason for joining was to challenge my thinking, step outside the usual day-to-day mindset, and explore new ways to grow the business  while looking to find ways to maintain a healthy balance between work, life, and family.

The session gave me exactly that. It offered a fresh perspective and introduced some really interesting concepts that I hadn’t considered before. More importantly, they weren’t just theoretical  they were practical ideas that I’ve already started implementing.

I had a fantastic experience with Vector Business Coaching, working with Jacquie. The sessions were really well structured and provided a clear framework to think differently about my business.

I love customers and am confident we have a strong business proposition, however until October 2024 we were only completing a handful of chargers every month, because I couldn’t work out how to get new customers.  Then I started working with Jacquie Hale of Vector Business coaching.  During our monthly meetings she helped me find a way to get closer to Car dealers who agreed that our proposition was attractive and then how to get them referring customers to me. Making the car dealer my customer led to the rhythmic acquisition of business.

She also gave me the confidence to defend my price point against cheaper competitors who were offering lower quality customer service and ‘permission’ to recruit people that support our growth.  Jacquie has also given me strategic counsel as to the long term plans for the business and encouraged me to enter an awards completion leading to us winning Start Up Business of the Year at the prestigious Signature Business Awards.

Finally the numbers: we are now doing 10x the business we were 18 months ago and intend to double that again in the next 6 months

Prior to starting the BGAP the programme, my business lacked clarity and direction. I was trying to be all things to all people and getting nowhere fast. Through the programme I have delved deep into the workings of my business.  I’ve been deep inside the nuts and bolts of my business - stripping it back, challenging what I thought was working, and getting brutally honest about what actually isn’t. For me. And for my clients. And it was really hard, messy and very emotional. There were days when the easiest option would’ve been to give up, get a job, and retreat back into what looked like “safety”. But with the support and guidance from Jacquie and my fellow BGAPer’s, I was able to see this as a brand-new start. An opportunity to make things right and make the business work for me.
