When all of this is over and we look back at the spring of 2020, what will your answer be to what did you do in lockdown?

And more importantly what did you do for your Business?

For most it will probably be ‘a bit of decorating’, sunbathing mostly’ or even ‘if I am honest I drank and ate far too much!’ (because in truth most of us have done!)

But what about you, as a business owner. Did you carry on working, furlough all your staff and then work you n*ts off trying to keep the business going? Did you take time to think about your business and where it is heading? Did you work ON your business and get your marketing so amazing that when life gets back to normal you will be full to capacity.

For most business owners it is probably not the last one even though that is the answer that would have been best for your business.

But it’s not too late. There is still time. Lockdown may be easing gradually but the roadmap to recovery is almost harder than the lockdown itself so why not try to make some time to think about your business, assess what it needs, where it is going and how you can get there. And then start planning.
