Are you ready for JULY 4th?

Are you in a service industry? Hairdresser? Physiotherapist? Nail salon of similar? If you are I am guessing you are feeling under pressure at the moment.

The governments’s roadmap which states that you can reopen on 4th July is brilliant except for one tiny flaw… you have 10 appointments available on 4th July and 10 times as many customers who will all want you to fit them in!

So what can you do? How can you make sure the customers that can’t be fitted in on day one, or day two or even week two will stay loyal? How will you stagger everyone so that the old timetable of appointments gradually comes back?

The answer is simple – talk to your clients. Ring them. Explain to them. Assess their needs and show them that you care. see how they are, they will be shocked if you do – and they will respect you for it and quite possibly they will understand that you want to keep them happy but can’t book in everyone on the first day.

So get a plan in place, go through your customer list and start to think how you want to manage it and then call your lovely customers and manage their expectations too.
